Swarovski Crystals

Swarovski is the name brand of designer crystals made by Swarovski AG. Daniel Swarovski started his career as an apprentice. Once done he came up with a unique cutting machine.

In 1895 Daniel Swarovski started A. Kosmann, Daniel Swarovski & Co. They opened a new factory in Wattens. The city had plenty of hydroelectricity to offer.  The company now specializes in sculptures, jewelry and chandeliers. Swarovski crystals also adjourn wedding gowns.

You will know you have an authentic Swarovski crystal because there will be a logo on it. The original logo was the Edelweiss flower. It was replaced in 1988 by a swan.
Their Active Crystals are really a unique product. Swarovski entered into a partnership with Philips. Swarovski had designed crystal items that have electronic capabilities. They make USB memory keys and different headphones.

There are also a few side companies. Swarovski Optik specializes in binoculars and rifle scopes. If you still need more crystals you can go visit the crystal themed park. It is located in Austria.
